What is ABLED's response to COVID-19?
ABLED aligns with all CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, to ensure safety for all staff and participants.
How does this program work with a participant's existing education?
ABLED is a supplement to their existing education. Our focus is creating a program to further our participants’ social and emotional development, improve independent living skills and provide employment training... all while having fun!
If request, ABLED staff will participate in the student’s IEP (Individual Educational Plan). Our program can become a part of the student’s ITP (Individual Transitional Plan). ABLED staff are available to attend the student's IPP (Individual Program Plan). ABLED staff will maintain a close contact with family, school site staff, transportation staff and Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) staff in order to maintain a continuum of services.

Structured and freeform activities are available. At ABLED we emphasize developing positive relationships with peers and throughout the community.
